Website Quality Report

It’s no secret that search engines favour sites that they deem a high quality so it’s important than ever to make sure your website is technically sound in order to rank higher for your target searches. And unlike other SEO Agencies who provide generic SEO ‘audits’ our Website Quality Report provides a strategy roadmap by aggregating data from 6 different sources to make decisions about the value of every page on your website and the actions needed to improve it. If it doesn’t move the needle, then what’s the use?

Keyword Research

We do this in 2 parts – for existing pages and for new pages. For existing pages we use the URL actions from our audit to identify ‘low hanging fruit’ where improved targeting may increase traffic quickly. For new pages we do a keyword gap analysis to find opportunities for new keywords/pages that the site currently isn’t targeting.

On-page Analysis & Recommendations

Using the data from the first 2 stages we run a series of checks to make sure the target pages are following best practices. These include Page Titles and Meta Data, Internal Linking, Headings and Subheadings, Structured Data, Keyword Usage and Topical Targeting. Based on the outcomes of these we then provide recommendations for each of our target pages. We find most Agencies overlook this process as it’s not overly sexy and requires a lot of work but we feel that it still matters, maybe more so than ever.

Content Audit & Creation

Using the data from the WQR and can analyse the performance of existing content and provide recommendations to improve, merge or remove. The data from the Keyword Gap Analysis also provide the basis for new pages which might include new service or product pages, resource guides or blog entries. This has a number of benefits including: a consolidation of equity in better pages, improved crawl budget and visits from Google, improved targeting and focus and importantly, more conversions.

Link Building & Audit

Here we run an audit on any links that are currently pointing to your site to determine the quality. If there are any issues with spammy or toxic links, this report will pick it up and we can disavow them. It also provides us with an opportunity to spy on your competitors to help us understand what is currently working. Once we have this data we build it into our strategy and start to acquire new, high authority links to your site.

Reporting

All of this doesn’t mean much if website traffic isn’t increasing. We provide monthly reporting showing you the traffic and keyword improvements on individual pages and the site as a whole as well as the increase in gaol conversions (transactions, phone calls, form fills etc).

    How long does SEO take?
    Unfortunately the answer to that question is… it depends. Unfortunately long gone are the days of building a new site, optimising the title tags and stuffing the content with target keywords. Google is now smart enough to identify those trying to game; the system, you now need to earn your way to the top. In saying this we often tell our clients to expect real results in 6+ months.
